The European Researchers’ Night is a Europe-wide public event funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions (MSCA).

It brings researchers closer to the public to showcase the diversity of science and its impact on citizens’ daily lives, and to stimulate interest in research careers, especially amongst young people.

For this call, the European Researchers’ Night will take on 24 September 2021, except for countries that for strong cultural reasons would be prevented from organising any action addressing the public at large on that date.

Who can apply?

European Researchers’ Night grants may be awarded to any legal entity, established in an EU Member State or Associated Country.

What type of activity can get funding?

Any activity or event that boosts public awareness of the positive role of research in society – particularly among young people – is eligible for funding. These activities may include hands-on experiments, science shows, debates, workshops for children, science slams, etc.

How to apply

All information about how to apply and submit your application can be found on the Funding & Tender Opportunities Portal.

Applications should be submitted by 12 January 2021.
