To strengthen France’s international competitiveness in cancer research, this programme supports the recruitment of top-level researchers from abroad and the creation of new teams within French research institutions.
By offering a significant support, the call “Recruiting International Leaders in Oncology” enables the arrival of an outstanding researcher in France and provides conditions to set up a team and lead an innovative, high-impact research project starting in 2027. Projects must align with the Fondation ARC’s scientific strategy to accelerate discoveries and develop new preventive and therapeutic approaches in oncology.
The call is open to French research institutions hosting internationally recognized teams and targeting outstanding researchers with proven leadership and independence.
Candidates must have obtained their PhD more than 10 years ago, be recruited from abroad, and relocate to France in 2027. Host institutions are expected to provide strong institutional support to ensure the team and research project the best hosting conditions
