A new distinction created by MATWIN and UNICANCER to recognise and accelerate the most promising projects in oncology research and innovation.
This prize is open to start-ups, academic teams and project leaders in France, across Europe and internationally, developing solutions in the following areas: Therapeutics, Diagnostics, Medical devices, Technology platforms, Artificial intelligence, TechBio.
By applying for the MATWIN Prize of the National Convention of the French Comprehensive Cancer Centres (CLCCs), you will benefit from exceptional visibility among the 18 French Comprehensive Cancer Centres, the Unicancer network and the wider oncology innovation ecosystem.
Selected projects may also receive support towards integration into the MATWIN 2026–2027 program.
What the two winners will receive :
The two prize-winning projects (the MATWIN Prize and the Jury’s Favorite Prize) will receive support valued at €10,000, including in particular:
- A personalised coaching programme;
- Mentoring from sector experts;
- A presentation before the MATWIN International Board;
- Privileged access to the Unicancer network and the MATWIN ecosystem;
- Invitations to the Meet2Win 2027 conference.
An award ceremony in an exceptional setting :
The prizes will be awarded on 24 November 2026 in Paris, during the National Convention of the French Comprehensive Cancer Centres, in the prestigious setting of the Maison de la Chimie.
This 19th edition, held under the theme “Facing Cancer : What Commitments for the Next Five Years?”, will bring together leading figures from across oncology to discuss the strategic challenges and innovations that will shape the future of cancer care and research.
