This call focuses on Translational Research on Cancer Metabolism: Multidisciplinary Approaches for Diagnosis and Treatment, encouraging multidisciplinary approaches to improve both diagnosis and treatment. It aims to bring together researchers and clinicians to foster innovative collaborations and support high-quality projects with strong translational potential. Funded projects are expected to significantly advance the understanding and exploitation of cancer metabolism in clinically relevant settings.
The expected impact of the call is to improve the efficacy of personalized treatment of cancer patients through the development of new combinatorial treatment strategies, based on a better understanding of drug mechanistic functions and of their impact on the disease course.
