The Institut Cancer et Immunologie (ICI) is funding 3 PhD contracts starting in October 2023.
In assent with Aix-Marseille Université Institutes’ vision and mission statement, ICI is seeking to fund interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary projects in immunology-oncology involving 2 researchers with complementary skills such as:
- Scientists from different teams (locally, nationally, or internationally),
- A duo of a scientist and a clinician.
The project must address a biological/translational question of interest to the immunology-oncology field. The main different themes include:
- Immunomodulation in health and disease ;
- Immuno-surveillance and inflammatory responses in autoimmunity and cancer ;
- Multi-scale heterogeneity in tumor and immune systems ;
- Signaling circuits in cancer and immune cells ;
- Translational and clinical research in immuno-oncology.
The PhD project proposals must be submitted using the attached Project Proposal Submission Form AND the signed “Concours ICI Règlement” no later than February 25, 2023 at marie-dominique.franco@univ-amu.fr.
